Full Time School Psychologist in Windom, Minnesota for 23/24 School Year

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled and passionate School Psychologist to join our team in Windom, Minnesota for the 23/24 school year. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for assessing and providing support to students in order to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Providing counseling and intervention services to support students' mental health and well-being
  • Developing and implementing school-wide programs to promote positive behavior and prevent bullying and harassment
  • Supporting the development and implementation of academic and behavioral interventions for students at risk of academic failure or social/emotional difficulties
  • Providing crisis intervention services to students and families in emergency situations
  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports on student progress and outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Active or pending licensure in Minnesota as a School Psychologist
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
