School Psychologist Pay & Benefits:

School Psychologist Job Description:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to students individually or in group settings.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to support student success within the classroom environment.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and develop intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.

School Psychologist Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working in educational settings, preferably within a school district.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student populations and needs.
Interview Process:
  • (10-15) minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
  • (20-30) minute virtual interview directly with the school
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview.
