Your role will be critical in supporting student academic and emotional success and ensuring that they have the resources and support they need to thrive in their education. As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological services to students in a virtual school setting. You will work from home, using video conferencing technology to connect with students and provide psychological services in real-time.
Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a school psychologist.
Familiarity with video conferencing technology and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships with students, parents, and school personnel.
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
Provide psychological services to students in need, such as counseling, behavior management, and crisis intervention.
Conduct assessments, evaluations, and interventions to support student academic and emotional success.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to provide support to students and ensure a positive learning environment.
Stay up to date with industry terminology and best practices and seek out ongoing professional development opportunities to improve your skills.
Maintain confidentiality and always adhere to professional standards and ethics.
Troubleshoot technical issues as needed to ensure seamless communication.
Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field, with a National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) certification.
Comfortable with handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
