ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist this upcoming school year for a contract position located in the Forest Grove, OR area. As a ProCare contracted employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis. Your compensation package will be individualized to your needs, and will be made up with a W-2 hourly rate that is based upon your experience level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs, strengths, and areas for improvement. Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Intervention and Therapy: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic exercises, adaptive strategies, and skill-building activities. Tailor interventions to support academic performance, fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to develop and implement strategies that support students' educational and developmental goals. Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on program modifications and accommodations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions. Prepare reports and documentation for IEP meetings, progress reviews, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and special education. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

- Requires a Master’s or Doctorate Level degree in Speech Language Therapy
- Must be licensed in the state of OR
- Previous experience in schools preferred but not required
