Job Title: Full-Time School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Location: Hamlet, NC

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in Hamlet, NC. Position Overview:

• Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: End of the current school year, with potential for renewal.
• Location: Onsite in Hamlet, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement therapy plans.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
• Assist with screenings, assessments, and documentation of student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students’ communication goals.
• Prepare therapy materials and set up equipment for sessions.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Adhere to all state and district regulations regarding speech therapy services.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
• Active SLPA license in North Carolina.
• Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations (preferred).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when needed.
