Are you passionate about supporting young learners' social, emotional, and academic growth? ProCare Therapy is looking for a compassionate School Social Worker to join an elementary school in Round Lake, IL. This full-time role focuses on helping students with IEP needs and providing overall social work support to foster their success.

Position Snapshot

• Location: Round Lake, IL
• Schedule: Full-time, 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM (35 hours/week)
• Duration: ASAP – May 28, 2024
• Caseload:
• Approximately 30 students with IEP support needs
• General social work services for the school

Your Role

• Provide individual and group counseling to address students’ emotional and social needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations for student development.
• Track and document student progress, adapting interventions for optimal results.
• Connect students and families with valuable community resources to ensure holistic support.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker Endorsement (required).
• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Prior school-based social work experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $38+ (Based on experience).
