ProCare Therapy is pleased to present an excellent opportunity for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a prominent school district in Baltimore, MD. This contracted position offers a W-2 contract with a competitive hourly rate, full benefits package, and 401(k) options. We are seeking an SLP who is dedicated to making a positive impact on the communication and language skills of PreK to 12th-grade students in an onsite setting.

Job Details:

  • Contract Type: W-2 contract
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Work Schedule: 5 days a week
  • Student Population: PreK to 12th graders
  • CF Supervision: Supervision provided for Clinical Fellows (CFs)
  • Work Setting: Onsite only
  • License Requirement: Must have a valid Maryland SLP license or be eligible to obtain one

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' goals and needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as needed.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and accommodations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Maryland state license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • CF candidates are encouraged to apply, as supervision will be provided.
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds is preferred.
