Position: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Westland, MI
Employment Type: Full-Time (Approximately 32 hours per week)
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Westland, MI. This full-time position will cover a variety of caseloads across different school settings. The SLP will provide essential services to students ranging from PreK to high school.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students with speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide direct therapy to students to address speech and language goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and needs.
Caseload Details:
- Age of Caseload: PreK - High School
- Size of Caseload: 60 or less students
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure in Michigan.
- Ability to work in person.
- Experience working with a diverse age range of students preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to supporting student growth and development.
Schedule:
- Full-time position, approximately 32 hours per week.
- Positions range from single school sites to multiple school sites.
