School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Houston, TX

Position Type: Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Dates: August 1, 2024 – June 5, 2025
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Rate: $35/hour

Are you an energetic and passionate SLPA looking for an opportunity to work in an engaging school environment? We are seeking a full-time SLPA to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX for the 2024-2025 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy to students
  • Work with students in both 1:1 and small group settings
  • Assist in evaluations, implement treatment plans, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with educational staff to foster a positive learning environment for students
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements:

  • Active SLPA License in the state of Texas
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus
