School Teaching Assistant Job- Hawthorne, NY

Qualifications include, but may not be limited to: 

• Experience in assisting staff with student needs (appreciated but not required, open to new grads!) 
• Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support intervention strategies appreciated
• Experience with severely handicapped students preferred
• Availability to start ASAP

Job Description:

• Full-time position available-32.5 hours
• Primary job to provide staff support in an special education childcare environment
• Caseload of 1:1 and classroom aide
• Servicing Students K-12th grade 
• Providing basic instruction on schoolwork and other education related activities as assigned by teachers' directions

Compensation:

• Starting at $20-25 hourly rate
  • Pay is flexible based on Experience level
