An opportunity exists for professionals in the field of behavioral analysis to contribute to a dynamic educational environment in Chicago, IL. Location: Chicago, IL
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized behavioral intervention plans for students.
- Provide direct support and training to teachers and staff on behavioral techniques.
- Collaborate with educational teams to ensure cohesive support for students.
- Conduct assessments and document progress for approximately 45 students across 7 classrooms.
- Supervise and mentor Level II Behavior Therapists as needed.
- Engage directly with students to model best practices and reinforce behavioral goals.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required; Level II Behavior Therapists will also be considered.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings, particularly with students with special needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff and families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of various behavioral modification techniques and data collection methods.
