An opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in behavioral analysis within an educational setting. This role demands a dedicated approach to supporting K-12 students through the application of behavior analytic principles and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Masters or doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Experience working with students in a school environment, particularly with K-12 populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families
- Proficient in data collection and analysis, as well as developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' behavioral needs and develop tailored intervention plans
- Collaborate with school staff to implement effective behavioral strategies and ensure consistency in their application
- Provide training and support to teachers and staff on behavior modification techniques
- Monitor student progress through data collection and analysis, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for reinforcement at home
- Attend interdisciplinary team meetings and participate in professional development opportunities as required
