An opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in behavioral analysis within an educational setting. This role demands a dedicated approach to supporting K-12 students through the application of behavior analytic principles and techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Masters or doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Experience working with students in a school environment, particularly with K-12 populations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families
  • Proficient in data collection and analysis, as well as developing and implementing behavior intervention plans

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students' behavioral needs and develop tailored intervention plans
  • Collaborate with school staff to implement effective behavioral strategies and ensure consistency in their application
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff on behavior modification techniques
  • Monitor student progress through data collection and analysis, adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for reinforcement at home
  • Attend interdisciplinary team meetings and participate in professional development opportunities as required
