Exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional with BCBA certification in an engaging K-12 school setting. This contract position focuses on providing comprehensive support during the extended school year (ESY), creating meaningful learning experiences for students.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of behavior intervention plans and data-driven decision-making

Location: Lowell, MA

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on students unique needs
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the causes of challenging behaviors
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to enhance students learning and behavioral outcomes
  • Provide training and support to staff on effective behavior management techniques
  • Monitor and analyze student progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for support
