Exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional with BCBA certification in an engaging K-12 school setting. This contract position focuses on providing comprehensive support during the extended school year (ESY), creating meaningful learning experiences for students.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of behavior intervention plans and data-driven decision-making
Location: Lowell, MA
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on students unique needs
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the causes of challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to enhance students learning and behavioral outcomes
- Provide training and support to staff on effective behavior management techniques
- Monitor and analyze student progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for support
