An exciting opportunity is available for professionals specializing in behavior analysis within educational settings. This contract position focuses on providing support to K-12 students through two maternity leave replacements, with one role commencing on June 1 and concluding at the end of August.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with educators, staff, and families
- Knowledge of current best practices in behavior analysis
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' behavioral needs and develop tailored intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement effective behavior modification strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Provide training and support to school staff on behavior analysis techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student outcomes and strategies for support
