Qualifications:
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Masters degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly those with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Knowledge of or experience with various teaching methodologies
- Commitment to collaborating with staff, students, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' behavioral and educational needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive support for students
- Provide training and support to staff on behavior analysis techniques and strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic student support
