An exciting opportunity has emerged for a licensed professional to support an elementary school in New York, NY, for the remainder of the school year. This position offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on the lives of students while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctorate Level degree in Applied Behavioral Science
  • Current BCBA license
  • Experience in school settings preferred, though not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team

Location: New York, NY

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement and monitor BIPs
  • Provide training and support to educational staff on behavioral techniques and strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and interventions
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment

This role comes with a schedule of Monday to Friday, working with an elementary 8:1:2 class, from April 14th to June 27th.
