Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, staff, and families.
  • Knowledge of universal design for learning and evidence-based practices.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students behavioral needs and develop tailored behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure the effective implementation of BIPs and monitoring of student progress.
  • Provide training and support to school staff on behavior management techniques and data collection methods.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student outcomes.
  • Advocate for students' needs and promote positive behavior and social skills within the school community.
