Job Description
A part-time professional is sought for a K-12 educational setting in Ogden, UT. This role focuses on providing essential behavioral support and guidance to students ranging in age from kindergarten to eighth grade. The position is designed for the upcoming school year, extending from September 9, 2025, to May 4, 2026, with a manageable workload of 10 hours per week and a caseload of 4 to 10 students.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Knowledge of data collection and analysis techniques
Location:
- Pleasant View, UT (Ogden area)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop tailored behavioral interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement and monitor BIPs
- Provide training and support to educational staff regarding behavioral techniques
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and interventions
- Attend relevant meetings and participate in professional development
