Job Description
A dynamic opportunity awaits for a behavioral analysis professional within an educational setting. This contract position serves the K-12 school community, focusing on enhancing student well-being and learning through applied behavior analysis.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Previous experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special education needs
- Strong knowledge of behavioral techniques and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
Location:
- Orange, NJ
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Implement and oversee the delivery of effective behavioral training for staff and students
- Collaborate with educational teams to ensure the integration of behavioral supports in the classroom
- Monitor student progress and collect data for ongoing assessment and plan adjustments
- Provide guidance and support to families regarding behavior management strategies
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, professional development, and IEP meetings as required
