An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to provide specialized support within an elementary school setting for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. This contract position is ideal for individuals with expertise in behavior analysis, focused on enhancing the educational experiences of students.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Masters degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children, particularly those with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Knowledge of various behavioral therapies and techniques
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Location:
- Orleans, MA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to understand students' behavioral needs and develop tailored interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to implement and monitor BIPs
- Provide training and support to educational staff on behavioral management strategies
- Collect and analyze data to track student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide insights on student needs
- Maintain professional documentation and compliance with all regulatory requirements
