An opportunity exists to provide essential support in a K-12 school setting located in Smyrna, DE. This role focuses on delivering behavioral analysis services to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other multiple disabilities, fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- National BCBA Certification is required.
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Knowledge of educational policies and procedures related to students with disabilities.
Location: Smyrna, DE
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and develop appropriate behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to implement and monitor the effectiveness of behavioral interventions.
- Provide training and support to teachers and paraprofessionals on behavioral techniques and strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the overall support of students.
