In Washington, DC, an opportunity exists for a certified professional within a K-12 school setting. This position is tailored for individuals passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of students aged Pre-K to 22 years through the application of behavioral analysis techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral modification techniques and data-driven practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Location:

  • Washington, DC

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
  • Implement and oversee the delivery of behavioral services in alignment with BIPs
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to ensure effective communication and support
  • Monitor student progress through data collection and analysis, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Provide training and support to staff on behavioral techniques and best practices
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall development of student goals
