An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated professional specializing in behavioral analysis within an educational setting. This position is situated in Washington, DC, and spans the full academic year, serving a diverse population of students ranging from Pre-K to 22 years old.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Masters degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Location: Washington, DC
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop tailored behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide direct ABA services to students and training for staff on implementation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student care
- Monitor and analyze student progress, adjusting BIPs as needed to promote positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required trainings
