Exciting opportunity available for a skilled professional specializing in behavioral analysis within an educational setting. This position is situated in Bolingbrook, IL, and focuses on providing support to K-12 students for the full semester through a contract role.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
- Strong knowledge of behavioral intervention techniques and data collection methods
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
- Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement effective behavioral strategies
- Provide training and guidance to staff on behavior management techniques
- Monitor student progress and adjust BIPs as necessary based on data analysis
- Engage with families to discuss student progress and strategies for support
- Maintain accurate records of behavioral data and interventions
