This full-time position is located in Tacoma, WA, within a K-12 school environment, where you will play a vital role in supporting students' behavioral needs and guiding staff in the implementation of effective strategies. This role will begin ASAP through June 13, 2025.
Qualifications:
- Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Current ESA Certification and WA Licensure
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings, particularly with elementary and secondary students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to supervise and support Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Support Assistants (BSAs)
Location:
- Tacoma, WA
Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral analysis and support to students, primarily in elementary schools, with potential assistance in secondary schools
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement positive behavioral intervention plans
- Supervise and support current RBTs and BSAs to ensure they remain current on their certifications
- Conduct assessments and gather data to inform treatment plans and strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
