An opportunity exists for dedicated professionals to provide specialized support in an educational setting focused on students with higher behavior needs. This role is designed for individuals passionate about enhancing the learning experiences of middle and high school students through the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Qualifications:
- Certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or equivalent
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
- Strong understanding of ABA techniques and methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
- Flexibility to adapt to changing student needs and environments
Location:
- Waterbury, CT
Responsibilities:
- Implement ABA interventions and strategies to support student behavior and learning
- Collaborate with educational staff to create individualized behavior support plans
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting techniques as needed
- Engage with students to promote positive behaviors and social skills
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student development and strategies
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
