In a vibrant educational environment, there is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional specializing in behavioral analysis. This full-time role is focused on providing essential support within a K-12 setting, specifically in Yelm, WA, and is designed for an individual ready to make a significant impact on students' lives. The contract for this role is set to begin ASAP through June 13, 2025.
Qualifications:
- Active ESA Certification and WA licensure as a BCBA
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create and implement positive behavioral support plans
- Previous supervision experience with RBTs/BSA's is preferred
Location: Yelm, WA
Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral consultation and support primarily within elementary schools, with the flexibility to assist secondary settings as needed
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop and implement individualized positive behavior intervention plans (PBIPs)
- Supervise and mentor current Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavioral Support Assistants (BSAs) to ensure they remain current on their certifications
- Conduct assessments and observations to inform data-driven decision-making for student interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and adapt strategies as required
