Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to teach Spanish to students in grades 7 through 12. This part-time position requires a passionate educator who can engage and inspire high school learners over a contracted period from August 18, 2025, to May 29, 2026.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification in Spanish or General Education
- Experience teaching Spanish at the middle or high school level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Proficient in developing curriculum and lesson plans
Location:
- Ulysses, PA
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging Spanish language curriculum and lessons for students
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments and assessments
- Foster a positive and interactive learning atmosphere
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings and professional development
- Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding academic progress
- Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
