An opportunity exists for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide essential communication support to a 7th-grade student in a middle school setting. This role is vital in facilitating the student's access to the curriculum and enhancing their educational experience through effective interpretation services.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., RID, NAD).
- Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred.
- Ability to interpret effectively in educational settings.
- Good understanding of the needs and challenges faced by Deaf or Hard of Hearing students.
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one interpretation services for the student in all classroom settings.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support the student's communication needs.
- Facilitate understanding of curriculum content through effective interpretation.
