Qualifications:

• Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., NAD, RID).
• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Experience working with middle school students, particularly those with hearing impairments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to different educational environments and diverse student needs.

Location: Victorville, CA

Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation services for the student throughout the school day.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure effective communication and accessibility.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) related to communication needs.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, staff, and families to support the students social and academic growth.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
