Job Description
An opportunity is available for a state of Illinois licensed OT to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This role involves working with varying ages, specifically from elementary to middle grades, focusing on their sensory and therapeutic needs. Both full-time and part-time schedules are offered, providing flexibility in your work hours.
Responsibilities:
- Provide OT services to students across different grade levels.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborate with educators and other specialists to facilitate comprehensive support.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
- Support students in achieving their sensory integration goals to enhance their learning experiences.
Qualifications:
- Active state of Illinois OT license.
- Experience in pediatric therapy or within school settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of sensory integration techniques and their application in therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently across different campuses.
