An opportunity is available for a specialist to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Boston, MA. This role focuses on providing therapeutic services to children with disabilities, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to thrive.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in a school-based setting, particularly with children with disabilities, is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities and a collaborative spirit

Location:

  • Boston, MA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Implement therapeutic activities tailored to meet each child's needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other required school activities
