An opportunity is available for a specialist to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Boston, MA. This role focuses on providing therapeutic services to children with disabilities, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to thrive.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in a school-based setting, particularly with children with disabilities, is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and a collaborative spirit
Location:
- Boston, MA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Implement therapeutic activities tailored to meet each child's needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and other required school activities
