Job Description
An opportunity is available for a dedicated candidate to support students in a K-12 school environment located in Brockton, MA. This contract position spans the school year, focusing on providing therapeutic services to help children with disabilities achieve their educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working with children with disabilities, preferably in a school-based setting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Location: Brockton, MA
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy programs for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators and other specialists to integrate therapy into the school curriculum
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding therapy goals and progress
