Job Description
Seeking a dedicated part-time specialist to provide essential support in a K-12 school setting located in Cambridge, MA. This contract is geared towards professionals passionate about enhancing the lives of students with disabilities through tailored therapy services. The position involves a 16-hour work week with a varied caseload, serving students from TK to 22 years old, from September 2025 to June 2026.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Preferred experience in a school-based setting, working with children with disabilities
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
- Provide guidance and training to school staff regarding therapeutic practices
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student care
