An exciting opportunity awaits for a specialist with a focus on the K-12 education sector. This contract position is designed for a dedicated professional ready to make a meaningful impact on students' lives. The role commences ASAP and continues through August 7th, offering a flexible part-time schedule of 20 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Valid MA OT License
- Masters Degree in OT
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans
- Knowledge of K-12 educational policies and regulations
Location: Cambridge, MA
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assess student needs and develop appropriate treatment plans to enhance their daily functioning.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Attend staffing and IEP meetings as required.
