Job Description
In this full-time itinerant position, professionals will provide essential occupational therapy services to students across a K-12th grade caseload for the 2025/2026 school year. This role is designed for dedicated therapists who are eager to make a significant impact in the lives of children within an educational setting.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in school settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Knowledge of current best practices in occupational therapy.
Location:
- Courtland, VA
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop treatment plans for students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student needs.
- Implement IEP goals and monitor student progress.
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions tailored to diverse student populations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records as required by the school.
