An opportunity is available for an experienced OT to support students in a K-12 school setting located in Espanola, NM. This role focuses on enhancing the educational and developmental outcomes of children through targeted therapeutic practices.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in OT
- Current state licensure as an OT
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff, students, and families
- Knowledge of IEPs and related documentation processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location: Espanola, NM
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to integrate therapy into the classroom
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
