Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a licensed professional specializing in school settings. This position is aimed at providing essential therapeutic services to elementary students, ensuring they receive the support they need for their overall development and learning. The role is full-time and requires an onsite presence, allowing for direct and meaningful interactions with students until June 13, 2025.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with elementary students
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Location: Everett, WA
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to elementary students with varying needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEPs
- Assess and document students progress and therapeutic outcomes
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Conduct workshops and provide guidance to staff and families on occupational therapy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided
