A skilled Occupational Therapist is sought for a role in a K-12 educational setting located in Glenwood Springs, CO. This position offers an opportunity to support students individual needs through therapeutic interventions within the school environment.

Location: Glenwood Springs, CO

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students' needs for occupational therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive student support.
• Provide direct therapeutic services and monitor student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of goals.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Current state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations is a plus.
