Job Description
Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a summer contract position in a K-12 educational setting. This role focuses on providing therapeutic services to students, ensuring their occupational needs are met in a structured environment. The position runs from June 16 to July 10, 2025, requiring 20-25 hours of service per week, typically from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapy Licensure
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience in school-based therapy is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other specialists
- Knowledge of IEPs and related documentation processes

Harvey, IL
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students as outlined in their IEPs
- Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding progress and needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student care
