Qualifications:
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Relevant experience in home health, healthcare, or school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering student development and wellbeing
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
Location:
- Hewitt, TX
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across the K-12th grade spectrum
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide support and guidance to students, promoting their occupational goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student needs
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and school policies regarding therapy services
