Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to provide essential therapeutic services in an educational setting. This full-time position involves working with a diverse PreK-12 student population, addressing the unique needs of approximately 45 students across two sites.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with PreK-12 students
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering student development and success
Location:
- Hollister, CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Conduct assessments to determine student needs and monitor progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school policies
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff regarding student needs and therapeutic strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
