This full-time role focuses on providing comprehensive therapeutic services to elementary school children, addressing a range of needs from Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in OT or a related field.
- Valid state licensure as an OTt.
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of pediatric developmental norms and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Location:
- Jacksonville, NC
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students' needs to develop and implement appropriate therapy plans.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
