An opportunity exists for an experienced Occupational Therapist to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This role focuses on providing therapeutic services to help students from kindergarten through 12th grade achieve their individual goals and enhance their educational experiences. The position is located in Marana, AZ, for the 2025-2026 school year and involves working with varied caseloads, specifically K-2nd and 6-12th grades.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Arizona Occupational Therapy License
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Card
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
Location:
Marana, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' needs for occupational therapy services
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy services to assigned students
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain documentation as required
- Educate and support families regarding therapeutic strategies and goals
