Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Familiarity with therapy modalities and best practices in pediatrics.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students needs for occupational therapy.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to enhance student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP discussions.
- Provide support and guidance to educational staff on incorporating therapeutic activities.
