Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for a professional to support students in an elementary school setting in Minneapolis, MN. This position is designed for the upcoming school year, focusing on providing essential therapeutic services to help approximately 70 students from late August until the first week of November.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Minnesota
- Experience in school-based therapy, particularly with elementary students
- Strong ability to deliver both indirect and direct services
- Proficient in conducting evaluations and managing billing processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location:
Minneapolis, MN
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to meet the needs of students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop individualized therapy plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs
- Deliver both direct therapy and consultative services
- Maintain appropriate documentation and records for all services rendered
- Utilize available sensory and office spaces to enhance therapy sessions
