This full-time position focuses on meeting the diverse needs of PreK-12 students, including those with medically complex challenges. Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current licensed Occupational Therapist in Connecticut
• Strong understanding of therapeutic practices for school-aged children
• Experience working with both general education and special education students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students needs to create tailored therapy plans
• Provide occupational therapy services to facilitate student participation in school activities
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing evaluations
• Stay updated on best practices and regulatory standards in occupational therapy
