Occupational Therapist Job Description:
- Assess and evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities to determine therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to support students in improving fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and self-help abilities for classroom activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to modify the classroom environment and adapt materials to enhance accessibility and participation.
- Educate staff and families on strategies, tools, and exercises to promote students independence and success in academic and social settings.
