Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students, tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans).
- Assess students physical and developmental needs and design appropriate therapeutic activities.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions in accordance with best practices.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a school environment.
- Knowledge of special education regulations and IEP processes is preferred.
