An opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist has become available in a dynamic K-12 environment located in Palm Springs, CA. This full-time position entails a commitment of 40 hours per week, focusing on providing essential therapeutic services to students across various grade levels.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy License in California
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong understanding of educational policies and therapy practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide therapy services in accordance with students' needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for caseload
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster a supportive and therapeutic learning environment
